Business Litigation

If you or your business has a business-related issue which may result in litigation, we have the credentials and experience necessary to help. A best case scenario would be for parties who have business issues involving another party to resolve them directly without needing lawyers. Unfortunately, good faith efforts are sometimes not successful.  In those instances, lawyers can often assist the parties in reaching a resolution without resorting to litigation.

In other circumstances, the parties may benefit from either an arbitration or mediation calculated to find a resolution short of court.  If those efforts are not successful, and litigation becomes necessary, our objective will be to prevail and to employ all available resources as effectively and efficiently as possible to that end.

The critical decisions made during the early course of a business dispute can often be determinative in terms of costs incurred and the effectiveness of the relief that is achieved. The client is best served by having a knowledgeable and experienced business litigator on board from the beginning. We can and do regularly fulfill that function on behalf of our clients.

Our representation of businesses often extends to matters originating with state and federal agencies including the Department of Real Estate, the Corporation Commission, the Registrar of Contractors, the Department of Environmental Quality, and others.
